Absolutely a wonderful stay highlighted by the friendly, accommodating staff

My wife and I recently stayed at the AC Thomas house and found it to be quiet and restful. We were the only guests and had the entire residence to ourselves during our short stay. We arrived at the house at check-in time to find a phone number to call for the house manager. She was located less than a block away and arrived in a short time. We were greeted and then taken on a complete tour of the house with an overview of its history. The house is beautifully decorated with Victorian era accoutrements and furnishings. We stayed in the Duchess Kate room which features a queen bed, small private bath, small balcony and views of the main street in New Harmony. Overall we found the area to be very quiet this time of year with very little traffic noise. All restaurants, shops and other attractions are a short walking distance from the house. Our breakfast was prepared for us, ready by 9:00 AM and was delicious. Absolutely a wonderful stay highlighted by the friendly, accommodating staff. Recommend staying here with family.
